The band reading - 90% of the recording process!

This is what the band looks like during a recording session. This particular session occurred at Electrical Audio, Steve Albini's studio. We did not record with Steve, but we did get to meet him and see him walking around in a special EA jumpsuit.

Phil's guitar playing is worth 2 pictures, or 2000 words

This is Matt taking a picture of PJ taking a picture of Phil. Again at Electrical Audio, what you're seeing is the big room in Studio "A". We spent most of our 2-day session doing this, reading magazines, and playing Nintendo DS.

Ben with a Frankenstein kit. If Frankenstein sounded awesome.

Not the big room, not the dead room, but the drum room at Electrical Audio. Ben compiled a pretty great sounding kit from the bowels of EA.

PJ and Phil in the Control Room.

The Studio A control room at Electrical Audio. PJ and Phil pictured here along with Mike McGovern, engineer of The Narcoleptic Tongues EP.

Ben playing a drumset.

This is Ben. He's our drummer. In this picture, he's at our practice space!

If you don't play drums, you write songs.

If you don't play drums, you write songs. And switch off playing guitar and bass.

Rocking out on Halloween.

The band rocking illegally hard. Minutes after this picture was taken, the police forced us to stop playing...by politely asking the host of the houseparty to tell us to stop playing.

Benefit show in January.

We played an environmental benefit concert at the Primo Lounge in Logan Square. It was very blurry in there!

Ghost band.

This photo was taken when we were just getting started. Phil's friend Chris used some sort of magic wizardry to make our clothes semi-transparent, then took a picture. If the year was 1692 and we lived in Salem, MA, we'd be tried and killed for witchcraft!
