07/09/08Midwest Tour Plans
If you like Percolator and you live in Minnesota, Wisconsin, or Illinois, mark your calendars! We are coming to all 3 states in September (most likely). If all goes according to plan, we'll be hitting the Twin Cities on September 18, Madison, WI on the 19th, and back to Chicago on the 20th. Be ready!
06/18/08Percolator to appear on "The Devil's Glitch"
Remember that song "I Know What Boys Like?" Us, too. The guy that wrote that song is the one and only (insert name here). He's a musician living in (Boston?), and he's still writing and performing. Matt worked on some kind of film project with him for some kind of school project or something, so now he's asked us to take part in his Guiness Book of World Records worthy song, "The Devil's Glitch," in which 100 bands will perform a section of the song. It's a chain-mail style project, and we are very excited to be a part of it! Look for that recording soon!
06/16/08New EP coming soon!
Yeah, it's been a while since we've recorded anything new. Until now. We are hard at work on the Illegally People EP. Here's what we know: "Stapling Flowers," "Eleven Dozen," and "Oh, The Humanity!" will appear on the EP. Here's what we don't know: What else will be on it. Check back soon for more details. 06/10/08Percolator officially releases Man Is Not A Bird
Nearly a year after all recording ceased, we are ready to release our first LP, Man Is Not A Bird. The album features 13 original tracks and clocks in at about 40 minutes. The album was mixed at home by Matt Collander and mastered by Carl Saff.
06/1/08Narcoleptic Tongues EP will soon be self-released
The Narcoleptic Tongues EP, recorded in September 2007 at Electrical Audio, will soon be self-released by the band! The EP was engineered by Mike McGovern and John San Paolo, and mastered by the uncanny Carl Saff. Tracklist, length, lyrics, and anything else about it can be found over at the music page.
